TVDinner is right. Things like small problems might be fine to post. But I'm not sure this is the serious place for speaking about ''Ending it''. Its just not pleasant for any of us. Nobody is going to guide your life. Ending it or not, this is NOT the place for speaking of that. You said it yourself, ''Your words have not helped at all''. We're not supposed to guide you through your life. Make your own decisions. Its part of freedom. It kind of freaks me out when people talk about this, and it probably freaks some other people out. Words of advice; Seek help. Go to a hospital. To be honest, you CAN end it. We can't make decisions for you, but we're advising you not to. Think it through, and if you feel its over, seek help. Just stop freaking everyone out, and seek help. Please don't take this offensively, Jake

James and Jake, while i understand you may mean well by suggesting he seek professional help, Im asking the both of you to back off because though you think you mean well with your advice, it looks almost as if the two of you are ganging up on rsinger. More than one person in this thread have advised Richard to seek help. He gets that. He doesnt need the both of you to ram it down his throat. However, and correct me if Im wrong, I believe Richard is also seeking to see if other people have suffered from depression in one form or the other and is maybe looking for a bit of compassion and empathy and maybe even some ideas of how to cope from those who deal with depression on a daily basis. so im pulling rank and suggesting that everyone take a deep breath and go to separate corners
