Im east coast Florida right near Daytona ... We are about 20 miles inland... We are ready.. All we have to do is clean the pool deck off IF its bad enough... Did some extra grocery shopping today and picked up some extra cases of water at Lowe's  Im sure as it gets closer and we know more IF I need too ill be heading back to the grocery Wednesday or Thursday  We sure could use the rain ..... BUT..... No damage  Who else is in Irene's path ???

I always catch the news at 11pm when we start getting the 'chance' of a hurricane coming our way... I remember 2004 all to well  We lived in Windermere Florida at the time... We got hit pretty good but not devastating !!! Our place had no damage... BUT... There were alot that did with Charlie ... Francis and Jean... There were alot of hurricane parties that year

They are saying we here in Florida are gonna be on the westside of Irene and she is going to skirt us ... BUT... She has plenty of time to change... Just like Charley back in 2004 he change his entry to Florida from Tampa to Punta Gorda at the last minute... Cant trust these hurricanes

Im gonna see if this works.. We just got our latest update via our local news... Looks like we will be skirted but it looks like South Carolina might get Irene head on  We are just keeping a close eye on her and I know you will be doing the same Midnight Tech... Batten down and hang on

RT @wxbrad While I'm all for preparing for #Irene, we shouldn't focus on the line track & remember the avg. track error at 5 days is 250miles. #Irene 250 is a LOT of fudge factor...but it could still affect 'ol MT!
