Well as some of you know by now my memory is... well lets say... a little shy of where it should be. As a matter of fact, Di is pretty much the memory portion of this company and if it wasn't for me forwarding PM's to myself and her reminding me of stuff not much would get done.

SO all that being said I still don't "promise" things without actually intending to act on them. It's just sometimes a mild distraction like a pot boiling over on the stove, one of the kids falling or a light burning out will distract me to the point of the original request being purged from my brain.

Don't hesitate to remind me if there is something I have said 100% I would do and don't seem to be following up on.

:?

I just can't remember how many test forums you have started or their locations. Again it boils down to my memory.

You guys are just amateurs with the bad memory, just wait until you are within one year of being 70.

Yesterday I was on the IM with my buddy in Florida and I was reccommending a particular brand of sausage to him, I had to go to the freezer and read the brand name off the box.

It gets worse guys.:whatever:

I can see doing that LOL.

I have my zip code and my wife's cell phone number on a sticky note beside my desk at my day job. I can't remember them consistently.

When I call a new vendor at my day job I always say "This is Jim from" then I look down at my shirt to find the name of the place.

Funny I can put a hard drive in a server, stick the CentOS DVD in the drive and have the entire thing configured and ready for cpanel inside of an hour. But I can't remember my zip code.

Zip codes and phone numbers-what about passwords?
I have a blast trying to remember passwords especially when they say they gotta be VERY unique...I make them so unique I can't remember them.

And I remember you mentioning taking Di out for dinner tonight as well!

I can usually remember phone numbers, post codes and passwords.

My problem is remembering people. They talk to me as if they obviously know me, and I haven't the faintest idea who they are.

A few days ago a new checkout operator in the supermarket addressed me by name and started chatting to me at length about her family. After a while she realised I was looking blank and she said "You don't remember who I am do you?". I had to confess that was true. She said "We lived next door to you for 25 years."

:)

Martin.

I do believe they based the Honda CRV on that early design...
