 Is it possible to store files in one of my databases and then have members access them for downloading. I was thinking in particular of pdf files, sometimes quite large ones of several megabytes.

 You could store a link to them Robert, but storing a blob, that's techie speak for a file, is not a good idea nor very efficient.

Hi Bob,

You don't need a database for that. Just create a folder on your web space and upload the files into it.

Then put links to them where your members can see them. In a locked topic, perhaps.
