Im trying to redo the frontpage and the html editor in the cpanel isnt working i keep gettin this error when i try to add and image thats held in a folder on the cpanel Warning Your editing session has expired. This is usually caused by a long period of inactivity. Please re-load the page.

Hi,

I'll have to look at it but until then please don't copy and paste directly from cpanel... heres why (I edited the post)

It contained a link to an image in your cpanel. Which in order to view we would have to log in to your cpanel (I got a pop up to log in to your cpanel when I viewed this post) AND since nobody knows your password but you they have to click cancel. Doing that 5 times within a certain period of time will block their IP from the server.

This recently happened in a PM situation.

Now I really have to look close at the problem because I didn't know there was a HTML editor in cpanel.

Perhaps not a star since I have been up and down in the cpanel and can not find this html editor. Can you explain how to get to it? If I can find it I can probably make it work....

Hi Jim,

Go to the File Manager.

In the top row of icons, see ... / Edit / Code Editor / HTML Editor / ... icons.

The Code Editor is enabled when a PHP file is selected below.

The HTML Editor is enabled when an HTML file is selected below.

regards,

Martin.
