For a long time now (since we got the Ignore function), one of my forum members keeps popping up on peoples Ignore list. These members PM me and say they didn't add him and there is no reason why they should, so I believe them. It's just one member all the time appearing on their Ignore. Is there an SQL query I can do to remove a member from all the other members Ignore lists he is on?

The short answer is YES, the long answer is :- the ignore member field is a comma separated list of user id's so a replace would need to be done, on a like where clause... I will have a look in the morning and get you a SQL statement.

I have had the same is with a couple of our members Steve. Problem was, the member never added them to the ignore list and then when he tried to removed them, it would not allow him to remove the member from the ignore list. Jim done something to clear his ignore list and "so far" I haven't heard that people are added that he didnt add.

Yes that has also happened with us a couple of times, where the member couldn't remove someone from their Ignore list. I went into the dreaded CPanel and manually remove the ignored member. It's a last resort doing that (in case something gets messed up), but it does work. Dave's SQL will have fixed the problem of old Redwing mysteriously getting onto Ignore lists.
