I searched the forum and found a few references to placing the code but no actual instructions. Could someone jump in and give me a quick lesson on placing the code. I have tried going into the theme text file for the code and pasting there but I am not getting a confirmation from Google (that I did it correctly). The google analytics tracking code needs to be placed in your template footer just ahead of the </body> tag. From google: The Google Analytics Tracking Code should be immediately before the </body> tag of your page, and should look exactly as it was provided to you: Go to Admin Panel>themes and then scroll down to the bottom section. In the center (Edit) pulldown select Templates and then in templates select site footer from the list. In the site footer code, find </body> and paste your analytics tracking code just above it. Select save and you should be good to go. Give it a few minutes and then login to your google analytics account and see if the site is appearing in your account.
