I have set up the demo for the BB and am very satisfied so far. I have found one stumbling block I hope to get help with. Is it possible to customize the information in the email sent to the site administrator when a user registers? I would like to be able to include the users name and one other now required field. Currently all I receive is the username. This will help me in allowing access to the board. Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike, welcome to UltraBB! It would require a modification, but it is possible. It isn't a normal feature of the software.

Cool. I am in the process if building a new website and getting away from PHPBB, it has too many issues for me. So far I am happy with what I am finding. The board will be a members only board and with the number of bots attacking my old board I would like that added information in the admin email to make it easier to weed out the fakes.

There is a rash of "real human" spammers now that we are concerned with and are trying to design traps for. I don't know about custom profile fields, but any of the stock required fields would be easy to include in the e-mail. Finally, a feature request that is actually easy

When the user registers at: http://vamathspecialist.ultratrial.com/login.php?register=1 We would like to have the following information sent in the body of the email to the site administrator. Username Last Name First Name Current Profession School Affiliation Is this possible?

OK that worked so well that I am certain I should add it to the "to do" list... a tick box as you create custom profiles to send info to admin upon registration.

I know this is an old post but... I purchased the board and did not have time to work on it while the trial period was active. I would like to be able to make the email modifications to my current board. Is there a specific location in the php script to add the selected data?
