Ah. I understand. How did you make 2 custom fields though?Thank you very much. Isn't there a security breach allowing anyone to put html in custom usertitle? Last edited on Fri Jan 7th, 2011 05:32 pm by Sykez |

My hubby put in the second custom title field This shows up in the members My Account Profile Members do not put html in custom title fields.. They only put in words 'only' I have control as owner/Admin of controlling their User Group ... Members have control of their Custom Title field Here is what a Member's looks like! I was going at it slightly differently so here goes in template post_user_info remove the br tag, and add these two lines immediately below the user_name
then below the line
Add
in the template post_row1 and post_row2 locate the words post_user_info and in the width attribute of the previous td tag change it to 190 instead of 1 you'll end up with something similar to this Attached Image (viewed 84 times):

I've got another question for you when I want to make a board private to guests it shows that there are 0 threads and 0 posts. How do I make it so it's like the Licensed member's discussion area.

Is there a way to make guests view some threads then they HAVE to register to view other threads?

You can't make individual threads invisible to guest. You can make individual forum sections invisible to them, and you can make images invisible to them as well.

Do you mean a time limit / topic count limit ? i.e. an unregistered member can view any part of the board for say 1 hour or say 5 topics? After which they can read no more until they register? That's not currently available and would be a significant mod. It would be easily defeated by visitors with dynamic IPs (virtually all home users in the UK, for example) and/or by visitors simply refusing cookies. If you want to give unregistered visitors a taster of your board, you could copy a few selected topics into a publicly-accessible forum. regards, Martin.
