Hi accorn, I can't answer for Di or Jim, I'm just a happy user, but that's a simple (and very neat) theme in SMF: http://forum.syncpedia.com UltraBB is so easy to use that you could create most of that theme yourself using the theme editor tools in UltraBB. If you create a free trial board you can have a play with the design yourself -- to add your custom header and footer, go to Admin > Themes > Edit: > Templates > site_header Admin > Themes > Edit: > Templates > site_footer and insert whatever HTML you want. You can test your css inline using <style> ... </style> tags in the template. This is easier than using the built in css editor. A custom theme from Di is 100% worth the money. While yes you could do it yourself, why??? lol. Di does amazing themes and you will benefit from a professional and clean design.
