Sorry guys, everybody is going to be in the same system. When the customer base gets to the numbers it has risen to it is absolutely impossible to keep track of everyone. You would not believe some of the things that has surfaced.

Once all the knobs are turned the settings will be put on a page for all to see.

Hi Jim,

I did wonder if Brit tongue-in-cheek humour would survive crossing the pond.

The correct answer was "we are so pleased to have you as customers we are going to put you in the billing system twice". :)

Martin.

In other words, he's run out of walls in the house to write all his customers on - or Di's gonna paint over them.

Looking forward to see this up and running Jim!

I got migrated to the new billing system last week. I was able to make a payment over the weekend without any problems.
For those of us who like to keep paid up for a long time in advance, you can top the account up as often as you want to and the system will automatically make the deductions. Most people may prefer to just pay month by month, but this gives the option of keeping in long-term credit if you want it.

I like paying a year at a time.. That way I do not have to worry about month to month payments...

Once a year and im done

Once a year used to be fine for me too when the hosting bill was only $199 for a year. But the forum outgrew several servers (they ran slower as the forum got bigger and busier) and now I'm on a $200 a month ($2,400 a year) custom package. I usually keep it paid about 6-10 months ahead when I can afford to.

Wow Steve, that is a lot of money. You should ask for donations.

Steve needs a server that large. The current one seems to be keeping up nicely. When it starts clogging up, a larger one can be built :)

I have a donations link Mag and it covers much of the costs, I cover the rest out of pocket.
The package Jim gave me is great, I would be paying at least 50% more from any other hoster for the same server and package. I checked it all out with about 30 hosting companies big and small before I went the custom route, and I knew what I was getting into. The prices I was quoted varied from $300 up to $475 per month for a similar setup to what Jim gave me for $200.

The bottom line is that the package and service here rivals any big hosting company.

I realised that you were getting a good deal from Jim. Glad to hear you do get donations to help with the costs.

JIm or Di - I am due to send you a hosting payment, not sure if I have been migrated to new system or not, can you shoot me a PM and let me know how you'd like me to send payment?
