I tried it when we first got the site up n running two months ago and it worked. I put one of the other Admins ip into it and then got her to test it by trying to access the site, and she got an error page saying she did not have permission or access or something like that. I did it with a girls IP earlier, the girls a sitewide trouble maker, added it but it didnt work cos re-registered with the same IP address, so tested it myself, put my own ip in and i could access the site

OK there might be something wrong, I tried putting my IP in there and all the forums disappeared but I got no message. I didn't know there was a message actually. I'm going to check a test install. Jim

OK I got the message after clicking on a topic. I didn't see any IP's in your list. Can you put a few in there so I can look at the format of multiples? I have never banned an IP.

I actually edited the config file they are in. There were no IP's in the ban list. Are you sure you are typing one IP per line and clicking the update button? They should show in the top window when you go back.

Hi Kat. It won't work it you put the banned IPs on the same line (I've done that myself) and caused the forum to lockup. Each IP needs to be on a separate line in the list.

No i was doing them individually, ie my ip is 82.41.231.224 I put that in and clicked to add it and it showed as added with the option to remove I then would enter another and do the same I NEVER do more than one at a time
