The C-panel WHM program that Data 1 shared hosting servers use is updated frequently and is always up to date with the latest security measures.

HOWEVER the user interface we use (theme for lack of better term) is the earliest model. It has the least bells and whistles but is branded with Data 1 and works well, but there are other themes installed that are more modern and have the latest "routines" to feed the core.

Would you like us to switch to the more modern interface?

I'm not sure I agree with 'modern is better, Jim but I have voted for that and hope it also means more user friendly. :)

I have voted yes, I have seen some of the newer versions and they look and work will - they are also simpler than earlier ones IMO.

Also would awstats be making an appearance anytime? I think its part of cpanel and its the best stats demonstrator there is I think.

I seldom use cpanel as I don't find the need for it, but will go along with whatever you think is best Jim.

All righty, all standard accounts have been upgraded to the X3 interface on c-panel

I'm reluctant to do it on intermediate and pro because I have a lot of "special" things in there that might be reset if I change the interface.

Let us know if you have any problems with it-

Jim

Yeah, I didn't see the cpanel yet.

But I am used to what the original cPanel gave us.

It Looks Nice, I had To Look in on Mr Smooth's Site to see it. It is much better in my opinion.
A little Disappointed that its not on My Account, but I Understand.

You had the better one from when I created your account. I am slowly updating everyone.

X3 will be the default theme from now on and I'll have branding up soon.

I use the cPanel weekly and was wondering why my browser favorites button resulted in an error message Sunday night.

Is there now a different url for logging in?
