I have a member that accidentally ignored someone. They can not reverse it. I became them and tried to do it and it would not remove the member from the ignore list.

I tried ignoring a member and removing them after and it worked fine for me.

Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks

It has happened about 5 or 6 times now. I can't figure out what is causing it... I think it's a case of the internet connection being interrupted during a save.

PM me with the member name and the ignore person I'll do some database magic.

I have one member who regularly gets added to my own ignore list even though I know I never use it. It happens others as well and I have to go into CPanel to remove the ignored member for them when they ask.
This has been happening sibce we got the ignore list and I didn't bother mentioning it until this thread reminded me.

Same here Steve. I have 3 members who continuously get members added to their ignore list. I have been told that it happens when they get a PM from that member.

Ignore is exclusive to view topic, the function is in there and requires input from the button. I can't see how PM could have anything to do with it.

The original issue was caused by a situation I didn't count on and I'll have to lock it out. It was from someone trying to befriend and ignore at the same time. I have to admit I didn't count on that happening at all.

Kinda like if you decided to press on the brake and gas at the same time in your car. Never thought it would happen.

Anyhow keep on posting the strange things that are happening and I'll eventually have enough clues to nail it.

Me too!

I have a moderator who accidentally hit 'ignore' on another moderator, can't reverse it and it's making it very difficult for them to do their jobs.

PM me with their names and I'll correct it in the database.
