over the last month iv noticed that some of the words in a post or in pm,s maybe highlighted and are links to advertisements. we figured everyone would say what ur crazy. when i see these adds i can go into edit the source of the post and no codes or url are in it. or nothing that sticks out to me . anyway can someone explain this to me i figure its a bug on the computer but not sure nothing i run will detect it. oh BTW this only happens at work on the network im connected to . iv never seen them on my home computers. i had to blur this one out a bit its a pm not a post but you get the idea of what im seeing, the words with links in them are green text and double underlined. and if ya scroll over them the link pops up. so i took a screenshot of it today. note jim and di im gonna send you the full size link of this shot through pm  Last edited on Tue Aug 25th, 2009 03:05 am by bhyder |

It's adware on the computer that has spread over the network to other computers. I have seen this many times and was attacked a few years ago myself. I forgot the name of it. There are a lot of toolbars also on that browser. Try using Firefox on the same computer and see if it still does it. Your IT guy needs to do a serious flush and shut down the network until it is finished.
