 hey all iv been asked to figure out how to make a google video show up in a post on chatter, i maybe wrong but im thinking they are mp4 video's ?can anyone point me in the right direction to a thread here, or maybe guide me through it. any help is appreciated. johnny/jj this is the video i need to know how to configure to play on chatter. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6810776130880750715&ei=4IE5S4T4A6L6rAKGtfW9BQ&q=egg+farm+egg+washing+video&hl=en&client=firefox-a# and im guessing this would need to be changed from html to ? <embed id=VideoPlayback src=http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docid=-6810776130880750715&hl=en&fs=true style=width:400px;height:326px allowFullScreen=true allowScriptAccess=always type=application/x-shockwave-flash> </embed> thanks again

Hi Johnny, No, they are Flash files (SWF files). 1. Copy the SWF file URL from the embed code. It starts with http and ends before the first & character:
2. Put it inside flash - /flash tags, with the required image size. Usually the aspect ratio is 4:3, and for YouTube and Google the controls are external to the image. So add on another 25 (for YouTube) or 26 (for Google) to the height for the controls. Here I set the image size to 600 x 450 (ratio 4:3), and added on 26 to make 600,476 in the Flash tag. The code in your post then looks like this (try copying and pasting it into your own post):

Hi Johnny, I posted the instructions for your Google video, but to see those caged chickens was a bit upsetting. In the EU a ban on caged-hen egg production comes into force in 2012. Most UK supermarkets have now stopped selling eggs from caged hens. regards, Martin.

oh yeah i forgot to mention, im with you guys on the caged birds, for egg or meat prodution. i do keep my birds up but its for there own safety. to many preditors around our place, hawks, cyotes, dogs cats, you name it. we keep our birds in a coop 8x6 with laying boxes and they have an outside run, chain link fence with the top also covered.
