I remember seeing that info but still do not understand why you have to do that. More importantly a forum admin will now have to explain that to members who "just want it to work" without the extra hassle steps over and over again. You can make all the announcement posts you want with the info, but if it is a busy board you will have to explain that multiple times versus it just showing the code when you hit edit.
We are forum admins/owners and while the explanation in your post might be fine for us, for most members they will not know what to do.
So back to my question - When I hit the EDIT button why would you not see the | [flash=425,344]http://www.youtube.com/v/aHW3BTF5pWY&hl=en&fs=1[/flash] |
code when you hit the edit button initially? It obviously is there, so my question to Jim is why the code does not just show up when you hit the Edit button and why you are forced to take the extra step of hitting the Preview button first. Thanks.
