I see it Seems that the icon showin a new post is not real visible. Hard to notice Much better when something moves or blinks or something.

I blink sometimes and you have never seen me. I know what you mean but on the other end you can have so much animation it gets confusing. Like the Homer Simpson web page he created by stealing tons of animated images and putting them on one page? That was hilarious.
