I check in here several times a day and love it. 
No pages and pages of complaints. 
Questions asked and promptly answered.
Problems solved in no time.
Friendly and helpful members.
Most of all, the way Jim and Di really go that extra mile trying to please everyone, which is no mean feat!

I have to say the reason I purchased the BB software was because of the board and the way the tech is given out here
My Last URL used VB
Biggest pain in the butt I ever had, lousy tech support, security issues, Skins always fighting the base software. and that is one of the easiest boards out to use.
This site is a testiment to the good work Jim has done on Ultra, and word is starting to get out. I love the support, the registared owners support and the extreme ease of getting request and such to Jim and Di.

I couldn't agree more! 

My only thought (and this isn't meant in a bad way, it's just a passing thought) is will they be able to keep up the same level of service we have come to know, as their customer base grows?

Realistically I don't think we can expect Jim and Di to maintain the almost instant help that's available at the moment. It will be a pity but that will be the price of success I fear, and even though it might be to our disadvantage I do wish them every success in the world.

What I really like is the way the members step up to help one another almost as quickly as JIm or I could. Im hoping that will continue as our members list grow. The more members Ultra builds, the more people stepping in, helping one another with the little stuff, leaving Jim or I to deal with the more complicated issues :)

Yes...

The code is everything!

Some of the problems noted on this board in the last year were the same as seen at WOWBB, but never fixed or (acknowledged) by WOWBB. 

Jim made a good start when WOWUltra was formed and thankfully the code has received his full attention, and if not 100 percent fixed, is well on the way of getting there.

I think during the 12 - 24 months, after the next schedule update, we will see at least two more big fixes, to include nice to have stuff, than things will settle down.

Also, the decision not to let just anyone create a theme will be a plus in the long run and makes for an easy fix when a theme needs fixing.

If hosted with Jim, he has server problems down to almost nothing, compared to what WOWBB had to offer. He does not have to spend excessive time on server issues.

The phpBB converter is something that will not have to be re-invented.

I could go on, but...

Anyway, in two years the team of Jim and Di may actually have more time to spend on individaul service, as the time and effort they are expending now will make for a smooth sailing ship in the future.
